A woman hailing from Kupwara suffered injuries in a road accident near the SDA office in the Bemina area of Srinagar on Tuesday. The incident occurred when two vehicles collided with each other, resulting in the unfortunate incident. The injured woman has been promptly transferred to Jhelum Valley Medical College (JVC) hospital in Bemina for immediate medical attention.
The injured woman has been identified as Raja Begum, 56 years old, and the wife of Gh Hassan Bhat, a resident of Langate in Kupwara. The exact details of her injuries and current condition are yet to be disclosed.
Authorities have taken swift action, with the police promptly taking cognizance of the incident. Both vehicles involved in the collision have been seized as part of the ongoing investigation into the accident.
