Habitual Drug Addict from Bhaderwah Booked; Sent to Jail by Doda Police in Preventive Custody

Doda Police’s relentless efforts to rid society of drug addiction have led to the arrest of a habitual drug addict, Amir Hussain, son of Khurshid Ahmed, a resident of Bhalla tehsil Bhalla. Hussain had been the subject of numerous complaints received by the police regarding his involvement in drug addiction and the alluring of young people to consume and supply drugs.

Following this alarming information, the police quickly sprang into action and prepared a detailed report of Hussain’s involvement in drug addiction as well as his efforts to involve other youths. Inspector Jatinder Singh, SHO PS Bhaderwah, led a police party that apprehended Hussain and produced him before the Executive Magistrate Class 1st Bhaderwah.

The magistrate subsequently ordered Hussain to be sent to District Jail Bhaderwah under preventive detention. Doda Police has appealed to the public to continue to cooperate with them by providing information on any drug addicts they may come across. The police have vowed to take stringent action against anyone found guilty of involvement in drug addiction to eradicate the menace of drugs from society.

The booking of Hussain is a significant achievement for Doda Police, which has been working tirelessly to create a drug-free society. With the cooperation of the public, the police hope to make further strides in the fight against drug addiction and to create a safer and healthier community for all.
