R&B Marwah non serious about replying to RTI

Facing allegations of corruption with regard to giving undue benefits to some influential persons, the R&B special sub division Marwah is playing delayed tactics in terms of providing the information to the information seeker despite the lapse of the stipulated time frame.

As per the details available with Chenab Times, information seeker Raja Umer Haider Lone S/o Gh Haider Lone R/o Village Yourdoo Marwah filed RTI before The Public Information Officer, (Executive Engineer, R&B /PMGSY),Special Sub Division, Marwah seeks information with regards to Demarcation / Compensation prepared which include the information with regard to Provide compete detail of Land with Mutation /Khasra number falls within alignment of Yourdoo Bridge to Store Buliding Yourdoo on road, Provide detail of Structures (all Kind) falls in above alignment of road with amount of compensation calculated, Provide detail of trees both Fruit Bearing and non-fruit bearing against compensation prepared in road alignment, Provide copy of indent of compensation forwarded to SDM Marwah time to time for release of compensation since start of execution of road till date in favour of beneficiaries from Yourdoo Bridge to Store building catchment area of Yourdoo. Detail of beneficiaries still not credited compensation, if any; provide reason thereof
for delaying to pay compensation, Provide true copies of land paper submitted by Revenue Department for honouring compensation of beneficiaries & Detail of officers/ officials who prepared compensation papers on above road.

The RTI which was filled on 13-4-2022 is yet to be answered by the Public Relationship Officer fail to provide the same despite repeated approach made by the applicant who is sulking in the office of R&B Sub Division Marwah at Marwah as well as at illegally established office at Kishtwar.
