A press conference was organised by the First Aid Council of India in the Raipur district of Chhattisgarh, in which the founder of the council, Dr. Shabab Alam, spoke about the courses of the First Aid Council of India. He expressed his views in the following words: “Making the health sector accessible to all is possible only through first aid education.” The purpose of the conference was to create awareness among the people of Raipur about basic medical care and to look at the factors of basic medical education there. Apart from Dr. Shabab Alam, the director of the council, Sham Lal Pardhan, was also present at the conference.
Answering the questions of the people present at the conference, Dr. Aalam explained the importance of first aid in a very moderate manner. The council’s state director for Assam, Pankaj Kumar, played a key role in organising the conference. It is hoped that through this conference, the First Aid Council of India will have the opportunity to serve the field of basic medical education in Chhattisgarh as well.
