Smuggling bid foiled, 3 Pak smugglers killed along Samba IB, claims BSF

Says 36 kgs of heroin recovered

The Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday claimed to have thwarted a major smuggling bid along International Border in Samba by killing three Pakistani smugglers.

DIG PRO, BSF, S P S Sandhu, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that in the wee hours of Sunday, the BSF men killed three Pak smugglers who were trying to smuggle narcotics through Samba IB.

He said that 36 packets (approx 36 kgs) of narcotics, likely to heroin has been recovered, adding that a major smuggling bid has been foiled.

He further added that the search in the area os going on.
