Army with help of J&K Skill development Mission empowering youth of 28Rr army Goodwill school Chandigam 8 sec Lolab Kupwara

During this time of COVID-19 pandemic Army Garrison Charkut along with J&K Skill Development Mission has started various programs for local youths to enhance their skills in order to empower them.

J&K Skill development Mission is starting 12 online courses for youth. Army Garrison Charkut with assistance from Army Camp Chandigam, Gujjarpatti and Kigam encouraged 196 local youth to get enrolled in these courses. These courses caters for youth of different education qualifications and age group. It includes basic skills like Tailoring(PPE kit and Mask) to specialised skills like Entrepreneurship Development and Cyber Security. All these Courses will be conducted online keeping in mind the restrictions been imposed due to COVID situation. At termination of the course the students will be provided with certification.

The Coureses were inaugurated by Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon by addressing the participants online on 02 June 2020. He encouraged the students and congratulate them for their bright future.

The students thanked J&K Skill Development Mission and Army in providing them this excellent opportunity to enhance their skills for empowerment and better future.
